Nissan Safari Problems

ComplaintDescriptionName and LocationPhoto
accelerator sensor faults1999 Nissan Safarikerry Duff
New Zealand, Canterbury, Christchurch
I there, i hope this is a Nissan Japan site ? i bought a 1999 Nissan Safari a couple of years ago, due too there reputation here as tough , reliable , strong vehicles, suited well too my requirement for recovering firewood and for towing my boat. However, i have had some major trouble with this vehicle, firstly, last year the complete deisel pump, including the computer failed, this cost several thousand dollars too fix, i yjen started having trouble with the accelerator sensor unit, then , just recently, i had a major failing of the dualmass flywheel, which cost nearly $5000.00 too repair !. as you may appreciate, the cost of nissan spares in this country, is very expensive. i am noe having daily occurances where the accelerayot sensor is comming up as a fault on the onbvoard computer, sometimes losing power at critical times, which could led to a very dangerous situation. I would like to know if i can source an new accelertor kit , to replace my faulty one, direct from the factory myself, and need too know the cost of the part ???. Your assistance in this matter, would be greatly appreciated by me. i look forward too your response.
