Vehicle jerks often when driving or cruising in a plateau on economy mode, when you accelerate in jerks or it slips before or while it is changing (It carries CVT transmission). Some say it might be transmission and not fuel. Works well when climbing or when acceleration is constant. I have changed the transmission fluid but no improvement, the jerking seems to be getting worse.
