I have been trying to get the hood up so I can instal the new alternator I got, but the latch woin't undo. When I got it, the inside hood open latch was undone, so I screwed it back in place, but no matter how hard I pull, nothing works. Also I have tried the latch up under the hood but that does not work either. Is there any other way of getting it open, and if not, what do I do to get it to open? BTW, this is a 1987 Honda Accord, so it is a lot older than the other ones.
