Honda Elysion Problems

We removed the speedo head to fit a new face in MPH. When we replaced it, the speedo and the rev counter does not work. Before removing the speedo head, the battery went flat and we think that it needs re - programming but we do not have the equipment. Can anyone help / advise ?
