The car has some screeching noise at start up especially in the morning went to the mech he advised that was an exhaust pipe leak at the joint which looks like a mesh and is what is also causing high consumption. The thing was replaced but the same noise is still there and consumption is still high. Could it be the timing belt? any advise? Regards

Engine will not rev over 3000rpm and it boggs down if i try rev it over that.i scaned it and it said the fuel presure sensor was faulty,so i replaced that.and also replaced the little gauze filter in the fuel line,and replaced the fuel presure regulator that goes in the tank along with the filter on the pump.i have also checked that the pump is working proply,after all this the problem is still there it wont rev over 3000rpm if throttle is pushed hard,and if the throttle is pressed slowly it will rev up to 4000rpm then rev cut.
