Engines sometimes gives hard start and sometimes especially when hot wont start but when i try several times it starts,but wont rev over 3000 and misses heavily and then stalls and when it stalls i cannot star again until maybe after 24 or 48 hours

I need to know what the correct capacity is for the automatic gearbox. If the oil level is correctly shown on the dipstick when cold, it should then show the correct level at the upper mark on the dipstick when the oil is hot with the engine running. But this is not the case. When the oil is hot with the engine running there is no oil on the dipstick at all. I have advised my mechanic to look at circulation problems, and he requires to know what the correct amount of transmission oil is required in the gearbox. I do not have a manual for my Jap assembled 4D56 2500 intercooled turbo Y.O.M 1992 .
