My car 2003 manual,acceleration is going up and down two three times (1000 to 2000) in between gear shifting,If I hold the clutch, after little time it come on normal.accelerator cable is OK.when idle I little press the accelerator the engine rpm is increasing correspondingly but it down only after a little time.

I have a problem with the dashboard gauges - the only thing is it works on and off. I removed the circuit board unit and checked for cracks. I found none. the circuit board is just a circuit printed on a plastic cloth. The electrics are OK. Have I got to replace the unit?
