Our 1999 3.0 4WD G spec V6 harrier will splutter or have a slight dead spot when accelerator peddle is pushed hard to the floor. However, It will accelerate OK slowly when the accelerator pedal is gently applied. Not very good when you want to pass in a hurry. Plugs, aircleaner etc all checked. I was told it may be the a fuel filter issue in the fuel tank. Car drives fine under normal driving conditions.
